The Holland scholarship is here again. This 2020/2021 Holland Scholarships is open for international students who are not citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) but want to attend school in the Netherlands, pursuing either a bachelor’s or master’s degree. If you are one, here’s a golden opportunity to apply for the now open Holland scholarship to study abroad.
The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science is financing this scholarship with inputs from several research universities as well as schools of applied sciences in Netherland.
The scholarship has a € 5,000 benefit. This means that you’re getting € 5,000 in your first your of study only, as this isn’t a full-tuition scholarship offer.
Again, the grant is only awarded once and covers your first your of study.
To be eligible for this scholarship opportunity, you:
-Must not be an EEA national
-are applying for either a full-time bachelor’s degree or master’s degree program in any of the higher institutions in the country participating in this program.
– meet all the requirements laid out by your preferred institution of study. You can check out their requirement in the institution’s website.
– don’t currently have any degree from a Netherland education institution
How to Apply
Locate your preferred study program in the overview of any participating research university or that of any participating universities of applied sciences. There you’ll get detailed info regarding the application procedure as well as deadlines.
Once you locate, you can apply for your preferred program. The university is expected to reach out to successful candidates who have been awarded a scholarship.
Application to the 2020-2021 academic year is now open. The deadline is either the 1st February 2020 or the 1st of May 2020. You are expected to confirm the exact deadline from your institution of choice website.
